CBS is honored to have a learned counselor from both a secular and Jewish perspective. Yonah Klem, Ed. D., L.C.P.C., recently retired from a mental health counseling practice which she had for over 25 years. She is also an ordained teacher of Jewish meditation.
As a counselor, Yonah continues to confidentially work with the individual needs of congregants to assist them in coping with challenging situations. This includes, but is not limited to, hospital visits, pastoral counseling around issues of bereavement and other life-cycle crises, and spiritual mentoring. She also regularly leads adult education classes.
Yonah frequently leins Torah and leads monthly meditation sessions and classes.
