Shevet Achim: The Brotherhood helps boys in 8th and 9th grade explore two primary questions: “what does it mean to be a man?” and “What does it mean to be a mensch?” The Shevet Achim utilizes a field tested curriculum that connects Jewish ideas, stories and ethics to the most challenging issues in the lives of teen boys: competition, power, aggression, academic stress, pursuit of pleasure and risk taking.

Our monthly group meetings balance play with engaging discussion and debate, in an experiential manner, under the guidance of a trained facilitator in a safe environment that our teens enjoy.
